Job Role & Responsibilities

The role involves ensuring seamless production operations while maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing daily production activities as per BMRs and SOPs
• Monitoring operations to ensure compliance with cGMP, QMS, and EHS requirements
• Preparing and reviewing documents such as BMRs, SOPs, deviations, CAPA, and logbooks
• Participating in equipment qualification, calibration, and process validation
• Coordinating with QA, QC, Engineering, and Warehouse teams for schedule execution
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the API production area
• Ensuring proper handling and disposal of materials as per safety norms
• Reporting deviations, assisting in root cause analysis, and supporting corrective actions
• Training and guiding production team members on GMP, QMS, and EHS practices
• Contributing to productivity improvement and quality enhancement initiatives

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required Qualification: B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech (Chemical Engineering)

Experience: 3–6 years in API production within a regulated pharmaceutical company

Preferred Skillset:

• Strong understanding of GMP and QMS documentation practices
• Good knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operations
• Hands-on exposure to BMR, SOP, and change control systems
• Experience with regulatory audits (USFDA, MHRA, WHO) is an added advantage
