Job Role: Medical Information Specialist

Location: Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area

Job Overview

The Medical Information Specialist role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. This role involves responding to medical inquiries, supporting adverse event handling, and providing scientifically accurate, evidence-based information to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and payers.
• Conduct medical literature research to provide accurate, evidence-based responses.
• Handle queries through multiple channels (phone, email, CRM, chat, etc.).
• Identify and document adverse events and product complaints as per regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams for complaint resolution.
• Ensure compliance with FDA post-marketing reporting regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas and client requirements.
• Demonstrate strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Pharm.D, B Pharm, M.Pharm, MSc, or any other Life Sciences degree.
• Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in English.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of FDA reporting regulations and pharmacovigilance processes.
