Job Responsibilities
Scientific R&D Innovation:
- Conduct lab and pilot plant R&D experiments around secondary metabolites in tea and other botanicals.
- Elucidate metabolic pathways and evaluate their role in health & sensory experiences.
Nutritional Science & Claim Substantiation:
- Prepare scientific dossiers for nutritional and wellness claims.
- Review clinical studies, Ayurvedic literature, and global scientific data.
Technical Collaboration:
- Work under guidance of program leaders and senior scientists in the Beverages S&T team.
- Partner with global R&D teams and external ecosystem collaborators.
Hands-on Analytical & Process Science:
- Use biochemical, molecular biology, and nutritional analysis tools.
- Apply natural product chemistry insights to optimize functional beverage innovation.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- MSc. in Biochemistry / Life Sciences
- BE/BTech in Biotechnology or Biochemistry
Related Courses That Qualify:
- MSc. Biochemistry, MSc. Life Sciences, MSc. Biotechnology
- B.E./B.Tech. in Biotech, Biochemistry, or allied fields
Experience Required:
- 6 to 12 months experience in FMCG R&D or academic research labs
Essential Skills:
- Practical lab-based R&D experimentation
- Awareness of metabolism and human health
- Familiarity with functional ingredients and their impact on wellbeing
- Proactiveness in learning and collaborating across scientific domains
