Roles and Responsibilities:
As a part of Jubilant Biosys’ Discovery Chemistry team, selected candidates will be involved in cutting-edge research projects that drive drug discovery solutions for global pharmaceutical partners. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing synthesis of target molecules using modern synthetic organic chemistry techniques.
- Conducting purification and characterization of chemical compounds.
- Documenting experimental procedures and results accurately in laboratory notebooks.
- Contributing to problem-solving discussions within the project team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional research teams to achieve project milestones effectively.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualification:
MSc. / M.Pharm in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related fields.
Experience:Â Minimum of 2 years to a maximum of 10 years in a relevant discovery chemistry environment (preferably CRO/CDMO or pharmaceutical industry).
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis techniques.
- Hands-on expertise in purification methods like column chromatography, HPLC, etc.
- Proficiency in using analytical tools such as N
- MR, LC-MS, and IR.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
