Position: Medical Coder – E/M Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately code outpatient Evaluation & Management (E/M) services, including:
  • Preventive Services
  • Wellness Visits
  • Vaccinations & Immunizations
  • Intravenous Injections
  • Telehealth and Office Visits
  • Transitional Care Management (TCM)
  • Chronic Care Management (CCM)
• Apply appropriate coding modifiers and follow NCCI (National Correct Coding Initiative) Edits.
• Perform laboratory coding and compliance checks.
• Ensure adherence to current coding standards and healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background:
  • B Pharm, M.Pharm
  • BSc. Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry
  • BDS, BPT, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences
• Certifications: AAPC/CPC or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in E/M outpatient coding
• Skills: Strong knowledge of coding practices, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
