Vacancy Information and Job Role

Jr Pharmacovigilance Associate

• Department: Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI)

• Nature of Engagement: Contract (up to 31 March 2026, extendable based on performance)

• Place of Posting: IPC Ghaziabad or any AMC under PvPI across India

Key Responsibilities

• Processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and managing them in Vigiflow/ADRMS

• Quality, clinical, and statistical review of ICSRs in the safety database

• Collection and assessment of Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reports

• Supporting regulatory compliance and documentation

• Any other work assigned by the competent authority

Required Qualifications and Eligibility

• Essential:

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, or Clinical Research

  • OR Pharm.D, MBBS, BDS from a recognized university/institute

• Desirable:

  • 1 year of experience in drug safety or pharmacovigilance (freshers can also apply)

• Age: Not exceeding 28 years (relaxation possible for outstanding candidates)
