Departmental Research Areas

CIAB is currently inviting applications for research work in the following thematic areas:

• Agri-waste valorization and edible product development

All positions are temporary and fellowship-based.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess:

• MSc./M.Tech./B.Tech./M.E. in one of the following disciplines:
  • Life Sciences
  • Chemical Sciences
  • Biochemistry
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Biotechnology
  • Chemical Engineering
  • BioChemical Engineering

Fellowship Requirement

• Must already hold an active fellowship from any of the following:
  • CSIR
  • UGC
  • DBT
  • DST
  • ICMR
  • ICAR

Note: Final year candidates who have secured fellowship but are awaiting degree completion may also apply, subject to submission of proof upon selection.

Age Limit

• 28 years (Relaxation applicable as per DST/GoI rules)

Selection Process & Engagement

• Applications screened monthly by internal committee
• Shortlisted candidates invited for virtual or in-person interview
• Final selection subject to approval by CIAB’s competent authority

Engagements are made on a fellowship/stipendiary basis only

• Eligible candidates may also be considered for Ph.D. enrollment in universities/institutions with which CIAB has MoUs
