Job Role & Responsibilities
The Project Specialist – Medical Affairs plays a key operational role in planning, managing, documenting, and closing medical and scientific events in compliance with Sanofi’s global standards. The role requires strong project management, communication, and CRM system expertise, ensuring every engagement is executed efficiently while maintaining transparency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Affairs Event Management
- Manage end-to-end medical and scientific events using a structured project approach
- Organize and document events within the 1CRM events portal
- Support advisory boards, consulting services, symposiums, speaker trainings, scientific education programs, hospital and clinical staff meetings, and third-party sponsorships
CRM and Documentation Management
- Ensure all required documents and approvals are available prior to event creation
- Maintain accurate event data, attendee records, and documentation within the 1CRM system
- Manage event closure activities and post-event documentation
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate regularly with internal and external stakeholders until successful event execution
- Partner with event business requestors and engagement teams to ensure compliance
- Represent Sanofi consistently and professionally across all interactions
Compliance and Governance
- Adhere strictly to company policies related to transparency, ethics, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure all medical affairs activities meet internal and external compliance standards
- Support audit readiness through accurate documentation and reporting
Process Improvement and Reporting
- Provide recommendations for continuous process improvements

Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (science or life sciences preferred)
Relevant Courses: Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Clinical Research, Healthcare Management, Business Administration
Experience Requirements
- Direct experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- 1 to 3 years of experience in event management, medical affairs operations, or commercial support roles preferred
