Job Role & Responsibilities

The QC Microbiology Executive will play a key role in maintaining microbiological quality standards across all formulation processes. The position demands analytical precision, process understanding, and adherence to regulatory norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Water Testing and Microbiological Environmental Monitoring.
• Perform Area and Process Equipment Qualification and Validation.
• Provide Analytical Microbiology Support for process validation and stability batch micro-analysis.
• Prepare and manage SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), STPs (Standard Test Procedures), Specifications, AWS (Analytical Worksheet), and COAs (Certificates of Analysis).
• Conduct internal training sessions for microbiology procedures and documentation.
• Handle Quality Management Systems (QMS) including Change Control, Deviation Management, Investigation, and CAPA implementation.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc in Microbiology (preferred specialization in Industrial or Pharmaceutical Microbiology)
• Equivalent qualifications accepted: M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc Life Sciences, B.Sc Microbiology, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Pharm (Microbiology focus)

Experience:

• 2–5 years in Quality Control (Microbiology) within the Pharmaceutical Formulations industry.
• Experience in handling microbiological testing for tablets, capsules, oral dry powder, and liquid orals.

Desired Skills:

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and QMS principles.
• Ability to manage documentation and validation processes effectively.
