Job Role & Responsibilities
1. Medical Coder / Sr. Medical Coder – E/M OP
- Review and code outpatient E/M charts accurately using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Analyze physician documentation for appropriate code selection and compliance.
- Ensure 95%+ accuracy and adherence to audit guidelines.
- Update and maintain coding records in line with HIPAA and payer requirements.
- Provide feedback to physicians on documentation improvement.
2. QA (E/M OP)
- Audit coded charts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Conduct retrospective and prospective quality audits.
- Mentor junior coders and conduct internal training on AWV and TCM coding.
- Identify root causes for discrepancies and provide corrective action plans.
- Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining high audit and delivery standards.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in E/M OP coding for coder roles.
- 1+ year of QA experience for QA roles.
- Must be a certified medical coder (AHIMA / AAPC: CPC, CCS, COC, or equivalent).
- Experience with AWV (Annual Wellness Visit) and TCM (Transitional Care Management) coding.
- Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and payer guidelines.
Relevant Courses (comma-separated): CPC Certification, CCS, COC, B.Sc. Life Sciences, B.Pharmacy, M.Sc. Life Sciences, Health Information Management, Medical Coding Training.
Location & Compensation
Locations: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Noida
Work Type: Full-time (Work From Office after probation)
Salary: Competitive salary with joining bonus
Experience Required: 1–10 Years (based on role)
Attractive Joining Bonus:
- Immediate Joiner: ₹45,000
- Join within 10 days: ₹30,000
- Join within 15–20 days: ₹25,000
