Job Role & Responsibilities
Designation: Officer – Packing (Sterile / Injectables – Visual Inspection)
Department: Packing (Sterile / Injectables)
Section: Visual Inspection
Experience: 2–4 Years
Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm
Location: Daman

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection of sterile and injectable dosage forms including vials, ampoules, and pre-filled syringes (PFS).
- Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Maintain line clearance, online documentation, and in-process checks as per SOPs.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and Engineering teams for uninterrupted line operations.
- Identify and segregate defective units during visual inspection.
- Maintain area hygiene, gowning compliance, and equipment cleanliness as per quality norms.
- Participate in regulatory and internal audits related to sterile manufacturing operations.
- Ensure all processes align with quality assurance and regulatory standards applicable to sterile formulations.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Background:
B.Pharm / M.Pharm graduates from recognized institutions.
Relevant study areas: Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Pharmacy, Quality Assurance, Aseptic Processing, and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
Experience:
2–4 years of relevant experience in sterile manufacturing, specifically in visual inspection and packing of injectable dosage forms.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of GMP, GDP, and GLP norms.
- Hands-on experience with visual inspection techniques for sterile dosage forms.
- Strong documentation and compliance awareness.
- Exposure to regulatory inspections (USFDA, MHRA, WHO-GMP).
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
