Job Role & Responsibilities
GSS Pharma is hiring for two positions: Drug Safety Associate and Assistant Manager – Pharmacovigilance. Both roles support safety operations but differ in responsibility depth, analytical expectations, and leadership requirements.
Drug Safety Associate (4 Openings)
Experience: 0–3 years (PV experience preferred)
Education: Pharm D, M.Pharm
Key Responsibilities
- Process Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in compliance with global PV regulations
- Conduct literature screening and document assessment
- Review abstracts and articles, determine relevance, and route cases to the safety database
- Perform XEVMPD maintenance and EVWEB updates including SmPC and PIL revisions
- Review product information updates and assist in document comparisons
- Monitor safety updates and emerging safety signals
- Follow SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and quality requirements
Assistant Manager – Pharmacovigilance
Experience: 4–5 years in pharmacovigilance
Education: Pharm D, M.Pharm
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess literature abstracts and research articles for case relevance
- Maintain XEVMPD and manage EVWEB updates including SmPC, PIL, and product information
- Prepare Signal Detection Reports and Addendum to Clinical Overview (ADCO)
- Develop and update Risk Management Plans (RMPs)
- Review SmPC and PIL against reference products and document variances
- Monitor safety signals, evaluate updates, and support decision‑making
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, guidelines, and internal compliance standards
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education
Pharm D, M.Pharm
Relevant Courses (comma‑separated)
Pharm D, M.Pharm Pharmacology, M.Pharm Drug Safety, Clinical Research Certification, Pharmacovigilance Certification, PG Diploma in Pharmacovigilance.
Experience Requirements
- Drug Safety Associate: 0–3 years
- Assistant Manager – PV: 4–5 years (mandatory PV experience)
