Job Role & Responsibilities
Torrent Pharma is hiring for two key R&D functions: Bioanalytical and Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL).
Bioanalytical – Executive (3 to 8 Years)
- Develop and validate sensitive, rugged bioanalytical methods.
- Perform extraction using SPE, LLE and other sample preparation techniques.
- Conduct drug substance quantitation using LCMS and HPLC systems.
- Execute study sample analysis following predefined procedures with accuracy.
- Operate, maintain and calibrate analytical instruments per SOPs.
- Maintain all documentation to ensure GLP compliance.
Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL) – Executive (3 to 8 Years)
- Develop, verify, validate and perform feasibility studies for HPLC/GC/IC methods.
- Work on APIs, oncology formulations, complex OSD products and topical dosage forms.
- Conduct NI/GI and NDSRI assessments using LCMS/GCMS.
- Support solid-state characterization and API sameness studies.
- Use regulatory guidelines (ICH, EMEA, FDA) and pharmacopeias such as USP, EP, BP and JP.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education
- M.Pharm, M.Sc (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Microbiology).
Experience Range
- 3 to 8 years in Bioanalytical method development, LCMS/HPLC operations or Analytical R&D method development.
These roles require strong analytical abilities, exposure to regulatory guidelines and hands-on experience with high-end analytical instruments.
Location & Salary
Job Location: Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd., R&D Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Salary will be based on experience, analytical skillset and expertise with advanced techniques like LCMS, GCMS and stability method development.
