Ipca Laboratories is hiring experienced professionals for Engineering, Production (API) and Quality Control roles at its Pologround, Indore manufacturing site. These openings suit candidates with hands-on experience in API operations, analytical testing, equipment handling and compliance activities in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. Candidates with exposure to WHO, MHRA or USFDA-approved API facilities will be preferred.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Engineering (API) – Technician (Chiller Plant)

Qualification: 12th / ITI / Diploma
Experience: Minimum 2 years

• Manage daily operations of the chiller plant.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, pump performance and cooling towers.
• Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain cGMP, safety and documentation compliance.

Production (API) – Officer / Chemist

Qualification: UG/PG in relevant field
Experience: Minimum 2 years

• Handle daily API production operations as per SOPs.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure accurate batch execution.
• Maintain batch records, logbooks and support deviation handling.
• Assist in change controls, CAPA and process documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and regulatory procedures.

Production (API) – Technician

Qualification: 12th / ITI / Diploma
Experience: Minimum 2 years

• Operate equipment such as RMG, FBD, multimill, sifter and blender.
• Follow SOPs, safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Perform in-process checks and support production efficiency.

Quality Control (API) – Sr. Officer / Officer

Qualification: UG/PG in relevant field
Experience: Minimum 4 years

• Perform analytical tests using GC, HPLC and wet chemistry methods.
• Prepare and review analytical reports, ensuring GLP compliance.
• Support QMS activities including deviations, OOS, OOT and change controls.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory standards.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Relevant science or pharmacy degrees: B.Sc Chemistry, M.Sc Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical), ITI.
• Hands-on experience in API operations or QC labs.
• Understanding of cGMP, GLP, QMS and regulatory documentation.
• Experience working in WHO, MHRA, or USFDA-approved plants preferred.
