Job Role & Responsibilities
The Teaching cum Clinical Pharmacist role combines academic teaching responsibilities with clinical pharmacy practice. Selected candidates will contribute to pharmacy education while actively participating in hospital-based clinical activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Pharm.D, B.Pharm, and M.Pharm students as per RGUHS curriculum guidelines
- Delivering lectures, tutorials, and case-based learning sessions in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice
- Supervising and mentoring students during clinical rotations at the affiliated teaching hospital
- Participating in ward rounds and supporting medication therapy management activities
- Assisting in drug information services, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and clinical documentation
- Supporting research activities, academic audits, and accreditation requirements
- Contributing to curriculum development, examination processes, and student assessments
- Coordinating with hospital clinicians and academic teams to enhance clinical training outcomes
This role directly supports the advancement of clinical pharmacy education and improves medication safety and patient care within hospital settings.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Pharm.D degree (mandatory)
Relevant courses include: Pharm.D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice), M.Pharm (Clinical Pharmacy), PG Diploma in Pharmacy Practice
Experience Requirements
- Fresher: 1 vacancy (Teaching cum Clinical Pharmacist)
