Job Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidates will work in the R&D Process Development department, contributing directly to the development and optimization of API and intermediate synthesis processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize scalable synthetic routes for APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates
- Conduct reaction optimization to improve yield, reduce impurities, and enhance process robustness
- Maintain accurate experimental records, lab notebooks, and detailed development reports
- Collaborate with Analytical R&D teams for method development and impurity profiling
- Investigate and troubleshoot process deviations and technical challenges
- Support scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot and commercial scale
- Assist in technology transfer activities to manufacturing units
- Ensure adherence to R&D documentation standards, safety guidelines, and quality practices
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, sound organic chemistry knowledge, and the ability to translate laboratory research into commercially viable processes.

Experience
