Job Role & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will work within the Microbiology department and support routine and advanced microbiological testing activities for sterile oncology products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing in compliance with GMP and GLP requirements
- Execute aseptic techniques in sterile manufacturing environments
- Conduct culture handling, growth promotion, and sensitivity testing
- Perform sterility testing and endotoxin testing
- Support environmental monitoring programs in classified areas
- Prepare, qualify, and validate microbiological media
- Follow biosafety practices including BSL-2 and basic BSL-3 procedures
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and test records
- Support investigations, deviations, and corrective actions related to microbiology
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure contamination control
This role provides strong laboratory exposure and practical learning in oncology injectables and sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Required Education
B.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Life Sciences, B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), M.Sc. Medical Microbiology
Experience
- 0 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or microbiology laboratories
