Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Quality Control Officer / Senior Officer – API, the selected candidate will be responsible for routine and advanced analytical testing, documentation control, and quality compliance activities within the QC laboratory.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine and stability sample analysis using HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry techniques
• Executing analytical testing of API raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Conducting stability studies as per approved protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Ensuring strict adherence to GMP, GLP, and data integrity requirements
• Maintaining accurate analytical records, logbooks, and test reports
• Supporting laboratory investigations, deviations, and OOS/OOT handling
• Participating in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and quality reviews
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs, specifications, and approved analytical methods

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational qualification:

B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm

Relevant courses include:
BSc Chemistry, MSc Chemistry, MSc Analytical Chemistry, BPharm, MPharm, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Industrial Pharmacy

Experience requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in API Quality Control
• Proven exposure to HPLC, GC, wet analysis, and stability testing
• Practical knowledge of GMP-compliant laboratory operations
• Experience in pharmaceutical documentation and analytical reporting
