Job Role & Responsibilities

Junior Research Associate (JRA)

• Support ongoing research projects in molecular biology and related domains
• Perform routine wet-lab experiments under guidance of senior scientists
• Execute techniques such as PCR, cloning, and gel electrophoresis
• Assist in basic protein expression and purification workflows
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and experimental records
• Collaborate with team members and communicate scientific observations clearly

Senior Research Associate (SRA)

• Independently plan and execute wet-lab experiments
• Perform advanced molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and protein expression
• Design, analyze, and troubleshoot experimental workflows
• Contribute to project planning, data interpretation, and reporting
• Support junior researchers through technical guidance and mentoring
• Participate in advanced research areas such as genome editing and pathway engineering

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Background

• M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or related disciplines
• B.Tech in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or allied fields

Experience Requirements

JRA:

• Project experience is mandatory
• Basic hands-on exposure to molecular biology techniques

SRA:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on research experience
• Strong expertise in cell culture, protein expression and purification, and molecular biology

Preferred Skills

• Genome editing experience (CRISPR/Cas)
• Metabolic or pathway engineering exposure
• Ability to independently design and execute experiments
