Job Role & Responsibilities
As a STEM Content Analyst – Molecular Interactions, you will work within the Systems Biology team supporting the MetaBase database. Your primary responsibility is to analyze scientific literature and accurately curate molecular interaction data related to normal and pathological biological processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of peer-reviewed scientific literature to identify molecular interactions and cellular mechanisms
- Index and curate molecular biology and systems biology data into the MetaBase database
- Ensure scientific accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Clarivate’s editorial and quality standards
- Organize and present biological interaction data in a structured, searchable format
- Adhere to strict content publishing timelines and quality benchmarks
- Maintain and continuously update scientific knowledge related to molecular biology, cell biology, and human disease pathways
- Actively contribute to resolving subject-matter issues through discussion and collaboration
- Take initiative in improving data quality, workflows, and scientific interpretation
This role directly supports downstream applications in biomarker discovery, target identification, drug repositioning, and network biology, contributing to real-world pharmaceutical and healthcare innovation.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology
Essential Skills
- Strong foundation in cellular and molecular biology processes
- Basic understanding of human pathology and disease mechanisms
- Excellent scientific research and analytical skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret large volumes of complex data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary global teams
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to quickly learn new software tools
Preferred Qualifications
- MSc or postgraduate laboratory research experience in Molecular Biology or Cell Biology

- Locations: Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad, Telangana
- Work Model: Hybrid (office + digital workplace)
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day within core hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM IST (Monday to Friday)
