Job Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidates will work in the Production Department and be directly involved in API manufacturing operations. The role requires practical experience in pharmaceutical production processes, strict adherence to GMP norms, and the ability to work efficiently in a plant-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day API production activities as per approved SOPs
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and production processes
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and production documentation
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) during all production activities
- Coordinate with QA, QC, and engineering teams to resolve production issues
- Support scale-up, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines within the production area
This role directly contributes to the consistent manufacture of high-quality APIs, supporting downstream pharmaceutical formulations and patient safety.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc or M.Sc degree in a relevant science discipline
- Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in a Pharma API manufacturing unit
- Hands-on experience in production operations
- Strong understanding of GMP and GDP requirements
- Ability to work in shift-based plant operations
- Good communication and coordination skills
