Job Role & Responsibilities

The Production Chemist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day API manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and documentation standards. This role requires technical understanding, discipline, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute API manufacturing processes as per approved batch manufacturing records
• Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and other production equipment
• Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, and safety protocols during production activities
• Maintain accurate batch records, logbooks, and production documentation
• Perform raw material charging, reaction monitoring, and yield optimization
• Coordinate with quality control and quality assurance teams for in-process checks
• Identify and report deviations, abnormalities, or safety concerns
• Support process validation, scale-up activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow EHS guidelines strictly
