Job Role & Responsibilities
Quality Control – Microbiology
- Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, and water samples
- Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM) in OSD manufacturing areas
- Execute Microbial Limit Tests (MLT) as per pharmacopeial standards
- Ensure compliance with GMP and microbiological quality standards
Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL)
- Perform analytical method development and validation for OSD formulations
- Conduct method transfer activities to Quality Control labs
- Handle analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV, GC, and Dissolution Apparatus
- Maintain documentation aligned with regulatory requirements and data integrity standards
Packaging Department
- Operate and monitor blister and strip packing machines for tablet and capsule formulations
- Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Manage deviation reports and change control documentation
- Train operators and support packaging process optimization
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
M.Sc Microbiology, B.Pharmacy, M.Sc Chemistry, B.Sc
Relevant Courses:
M.Sc Microbiology, B.Pharmacy, M.Sc Analytical Chemistry, B.Sc Chemistry
Experience:
- QC Microbiology: 4–6 Years
- ADL: 2–4 Years
- Packaging: 2–8 Years
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and microbiology techniques
- Documentation skills aligned with pharmaceutical quality systems
- Experience in OSD manufacturing preferred
