Job Role & Responsibilities

Bioanalytical Scientist / Analyst – IVPT Section

This role focuses on bioanalytical method development, validation, and analysis of biological and in vitro samples as part of pharmaceutical research and drug development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate bioanalytical and in vitro methods for drug analysis
• Analyze biological samples to determine drug and metabolite concentrations
• Perform in vitro permeation testing (IVPT) and related studies
• Maintain GLP-compliant laboratory practices and documentation
• Write, review, and update SOPs as per regulatory requirements
• Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper calibration
• Record raw data in laboratory notebooks and data sheets
• Maintain equipment logbooks and ensure audit readiness
• Assist project leaders in report preparation and data compilation
• Ensure housekeeping and compliance within the bioanalytical lab

These responsibilities are critical in ensuring accurate drug concentration analysis, supporting bioequivalence studies, and contributing to regulatory submissions.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

M.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Life Sciences)

Experience Required:

2 to 4 years in bioanalytical research, IVPT studies, or pharmaceutical analytical labs

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of bioanalytical method development and validation
• Knowledge of GLP guidelines and laboratory compliance
• Experience in handling biological samples and analytical instruments
• Data recording, documentation, and SOP management skills
• Attention to detail and regulatory compliance mindset
