Job Role and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will become part of Baxter’s Safety Operations team and contribute to pharmacovigilance case processing, patient safety reporting, and regulatory safety operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process adverse event reports from multiple source types
- Perform accurate safety data entry and case review
- Determine seriousness, expectedness, causality, and event resolution
- Ensure correct suspect drug selection within pharmacovigilance systems
- Write detailed case narratives summarizing medical information
- Code medical terminology using MedDRA dictionaries
- Ensure safety database quality and compliance standards
- Conduct case follow-up and query management with reporters and affiliates
- Support aggregate report preparation and case cleanup activities
- Participate in quality checks and pharmacovigilance compliance activities
Candidates with knowledge of ICSR processing, adverse event reporting, pharmacovigilance systems, MedDRA coding, and global safety regulations will have an added advantage.
