Job Role and Responsibilities

Selected candidates will become part of Baxter’s Safety Operations team and contribute to pharmacovigilance case processing, patient safety reporting, and regulatory safety operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process adverse event reports from multiple source types
  • Perform accurate safety data entry and case review
  • Determine seriousness, expectedness, causality, and event resolution
  • Ensure correct suspect drug selection within pharmacovigilance systems
  • Write detailed case narratives summarizing medical information
  • Code medical terminology using MedDRA dictionaries
  • Ensure safety database quality and compliance standards
  • Conduct case follow-up and query management with reporters and affiliates
  • Support aggregate report preparation and case cleanup activities
  • Participate in quality checks and pharmacovigilance compliance activities
