Job Role & Responsibilities
Research Associate / Senior Research Associate – Organic Chemistry
- Perform chemical reactions from milligram to gram scale
- Handle reaction setup including reagent charging, temperature control, and inert conditions
- Interpret analytical data from NMR, Mass Spectrometry, and HPLC
- Perform purification using column chromatography, CombiFlash, and mobile phase optimization
- Support instrumentation handling, operation, and maintenance
- Maintain detailed documentation, lab notebooks, and experimental records
- Understand scientific literature, patents, and research procedures
- Collaborate with scientific teams to support ongoing research projects
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: MSc (Organic Chemistry)
- Experience: 1–3 years in CRO or pharmaceutical research environment
- Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and laboratory practices
- Experience with analytical techniques (NMR, HPLC, Mass)
- Hands-on experience in purification and chromatography techniques
- Good documentation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Location & Salary
- Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
- Work Mode: On-site
- Salary Range: ₹3.5 LPA – ₹7.5 LPA (approximate based on CRO research roles)
