Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Trainee – Organic Chemistry, you will work closely with senior scientists and research teams to support daily laboratory operations and synthetic research projects.
Research & Laboratory Activities
- Execute day-to-day synthetic organic chemistry experiments.
- Perform 2–3 chemical reactions daily and document findings.
- Support research activities in synthetic and organic chemistry projects.
- Prepare reaction reports and communicate results to the team lead.
Analytical & Instrumentation Support
- Utilize analytical instruments such as NMR, HPLC, and LC-MS for structural elucidation.
- Assist in interpretation of analytical data.
- Maintain proper documentation of analytical reports.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) guidelines.
- Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and compliance documentation.
This role provides foundational training in pharmaceutical R&D chemistry, analytical method utilization, and laboratory compliance systems.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Qualification
MSc Organic Chemistry
Relevant Specializations: Organic Chemistry, Synthetic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry.
Experience
