Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Junior Scientific Officer (Molecular Genomics – NGS/NIPT), you will be actively engaged in hands-on laboratory work. This position is highly suitable for freshers who are committed to building a career in advanced life sciences research.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting wet-lab experiments in molecular genomics and next-generation sequencing.
- Handling samples for NIPT workflows and genetic screening.
- Maintaining laboratory protocols and documentation with precision.
- Operating and calibrating essential molecular biology equipment.
- Performing DNA extraction, PCR, electrophoresis, and sequencing sample preparation.
- Supporting senior scientists and working collaboratively within a team.
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality control standards.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education Required: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or any Life Science discipline.
