Job Role & Responsibilities
Research Associate / Senior Research Associate – Rodent Pharmacokinetics (DMPK)
Work Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore
Experience: 4–7 years
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rodent handling, restraint, and dosing using IV, PO, SC, and IP routes in compliance with CPCSEA and AAALAC guidelines.
- Execute serial blood sampling techniques including tail vein, retro-orbital, and jugular cannulation.
- Conduct urine, feces collection, and tissue harvesting for PK and excretion studies.
- Perform catheterization procedures (jugular vein, femoral vein, bile duct) for continuous or serial sampling.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with GLP and non-GLP SOPs.
- Interpret pharmacokinetic parameters and assess druggability.
Research Associate / Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist – In Vitro ADME
Work Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Experience: 2–7 years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, analyze, and report in vitro ADME studies.
- Perform permeability studies using Caco-2, MDR1 MDCK-II, and MDCK-II cell lines across 24, 96, and 384-well formats.
- Conduct CYP induction assays using primary hepatocytes and mRNA estimation techniques.
- Execute transporter assays and reporter assays.
- Perform Drug-Induced Liver Injury (DILI) studies.
- Work with advanced biological models including organoids, spheroids, and organ-on-chip systems.
- Ensure data integrity and documentation using laboratory notebooks and internal systems.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Sciences (Pharmacology/Toxicology)
- PhD (for Associate Scientist roles)
Relevant Courses (comma-separated):
Pharmacology, Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Drug Metabolism, Clinical Pharmacokinetics
Experience Requirement
- Rodent PK roles: 4–7 years
- In Vitro ADME roles: 2–7 years
Hands-on industry experience in discovery-stage research is essential.
