Role Overview: Medicinal Chemistry – Synthetic Chemist
Designation: Research Chemist / Senior Research Chemist
Department: Medicinal Chemistry
Job Location: Electronic City, Phase 2, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Key Responsibilities
- Execute multi-step synthesis for drug-like molecules
- Work on small-scale synthetic chemistry projects
- Document and interpret data with accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional research teams
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: MSc in Organic Chemistry (Full Time)
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years in synthetic chemistry (preferably in small-scale synthesis)
Desired Skills
- Strong grasp of organic chemistry principles
- Familiarity with purification techniques and reaction optimization
- Exposure to medicinal chemistry or CRAMS/CDMO environment is a plus
- Effective documentation and communication skills
