Job Role & Responsibilities

Research Analyst / Senior Research Analyst – AR&D (API)

As part of the Analytical R&D team, the selected candidates will work on advanced impurity profiling projects using high-end mass spectrometry techniques. The role demands strong analytical thinking, method development skills, and a solid understanding of regulatory expectations related to genotoxic and nitrosamine impurities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Method development and validation for genotoxic impurities, nitrosamine impurities, and NDSRIs using LC-MS/MS
• Development and validation of analytical methods for genotoxic and nitrosamine impurities using GC-MS/MS
• Development of MS-compatible HPLC related substances methods to identify unknown peaks using LC-MS
• Identification and characterization of degradation impurities and unknown impurities through MS-based studies
• Supporting impurity risk assessment and regulatory submission–ready analytical data
• Ensuring compliance with cGMP, data integrity, and analytical documentation standards
• Preparing method validation reports, protocols, and technical documentation
• Collaborating with cross-functional R&D and regulatory teams

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required Education

• M.Sc (Chemistry)
• M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis)
• B.Pharm

Relevant Courses Include:

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Analytical R&D (API)
