Government Job Opportunity for M. Pharm & Chemistry Graduates at CCRAS – RARI Gwalior

The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Gwalior, operating under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, is inviting applications for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF – Chemistry) position. This is a contract-based government job offering excellent exposure for freshers in the fields of Ayurveda, pharmaceutical chemistry, and biomedical research.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree in Chemistry or M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from a recognized institution.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Higher qualification in relevant subjects.

  • Research experience in projects funded by AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent.

  • Hands-on skills in using instruments like HPTLC, HPLC, LC-MS/MS.

  • Experience in scientific writing, data handling, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on 01/01/2025 (Age relaxation applicable as per government norms).

💰 Salary

  • ₹37,000 per month + HRA (as per norms)


Project Overview

The selected JRF will contribute to the IMR collaborative project titled:
“Comprehensive phytochemical profiling of selected Medicinal Plants used in Ayurveda formulations: Employing biomedical approaches for determining the Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease therapeutics in in-vitro setup.”

This is an exceptional chance for young pharmacy graduates and chemistry postgraduates to engage in cutting-edge government-funded research with translational significance in neurodegenerative disorders.
