Cognitive Value Tech is actively seeking Clinical Data Associates to join their team in a work-from-home setup. This is a great opportunity for professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience in clinical data management who are looking to contribute to the success of clinical research programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Data Management

• Oversee data collection, validation, and cleaning to maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Work with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and biostatisticians to define data management protocols.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ICH-GCP, and other regulatory standards.

2. Edit Check Design & Implementation

• Develop and execute edit checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing data.
• Maintain and update edit check specifications to improve data quality.

3. Medical Coding

• Perform medical coding of adverse events, medical history, and medications using MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries.
• Resolve discrepancies in coding to ensure accuracy.

4. Case Report Form (CRF) Design

• Assist in designing electronic and paper CRFs for accurate data collection.
• Ensure CRF compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

5. Quality Control & Data Validation

• Conduct regular quality control reviews to verify data consistency.
• Develop and manage data validation plans and query resolution processes.
• Coordinate with investigational sites for query resolution.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain detailed data management records.
• Generate reports and status updates for project teams.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare Informatics, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related fields.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in clinical data management.
• Proficiency in clinical data management software (EDC systems preferred).
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and medical coding.
• Experience in MedDRA and WHO Drug coding.
• Strong skills in edit check creation, query resolution, and CRF design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications in Clinical Data Management are a plus.
