Key Responsibilities in Medical Coding
Coding Accuracy & Record Management:
- Extract essential data from patient medical records.
- Assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10-CM, APC, DRG, and ASA codes.
- Conduct thorough chart audits for quality assurance.
Compliance & Collaboration:
- Ensure adherence to standard coding procedures and latest coding regulations.
- Validate codes against physicians’ diagnoses for accuracy.
- Collaborate with billing teams and resolve queries effectively.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (B Pharm)
- Nursing Graduates (BSc Nursing or GNM)
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong typing speed and attention to detail
- Good understanding of human anatomy
Immediate joiners are highly preferred!
