Job Role & Responsibilities
As an HCC Medical Coder, you will be responsible for analyzing medical records and assigning appropriate diagnosis codes based on Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing patient medical records for accurate and complete coding
- Assigning ICD codes as per HCC risk adjustment guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and coding standards
- Maintaining accuracy and quality in coding for reimbursement processes
- Working with healthcare data systems and coding tools
- Supporting audit processes and quality checks
- Collaborating with internal teams to improve coding accuracy and productivity

Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate (Life Sciences preferred for freshers)
- Freshers must have CPC certification (AAPC)
- Experienced candidates must have minimum 6 months of HCC coding experience
- Certification from AAPC or AHIMA is required
