Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Scribe at CareTrotter, your primary responsibility will be to assist doctors by documenting real-time patient interactions. This includes recording patient histories, treatment plans, and diagnostic results during live medical consultations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of live scribing experience. Experience working in fast-paced healthcare settings is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical terminology are essential for this role.
- Education: A background in healthcare, biology, or related fields is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation software.
More Details:
- Minimum 2 years of real-time scribing experience in a busy clinic or hospital setting
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with 95% accuracy
- Strong spoken English communication skills for smooth interaction with physicians
- Ability to manage high-volume documentation under pressure
- Must be physically fit for a desk-based job with extended sitting hours (no neck/back issues)
- Hands-on experience with at least two EHR platforms (EPIC, eClinicalWorks, AthenaHealth, PracticeFusion, or NextGen)
- Strong note-taking and information retention skills are crucial
- Must be willing to work on-site at the specified location (no remote options)
