Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Officer – Production in the mammalian manufacturing unit, you will be responsible for handling critical production processes while ensuring strict compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines.

• Follow GMP, GxP, and EH&S standards to maintain compliance in production operations
• Execute manufacturing activities in granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation areas
• Perform SOP-based operations and report deviations or process issues
• Plan production schedules based on delivery timelines and material availability
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Engineering teams
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
• Maintain hygiene and discipline in manufacturing areas as per regulatory norms
• Optimize resource utilization including manpower, machinery, and materials
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and complaints with CAPA implementation
• Support validation, qualification, and change control activities
• Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues to maintain productivity
• Contribute to quality management systems and compliance reporting

Eligibility / Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

• Graduation in Life Sciences or related disciplines
• 0 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or biotech manufacturing

Relevant courses include: B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, BSc Life Sciences, MSc Biotechnology, MSc Microbiology, MSc Biochemistry, BSc Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology
