Job Role & Responsibilities

Fermentation – Production (Upstream)

• Operate and manage large-scale fermentation equipment
• Monitor bioreactor parameters and ensure optimal microbial growth
• Execute batch records and maintain documentation
• Adhere to GMP and SOPs during all production activities
• Collaborate with QA and R&D teams for process improvements

Fermentation – Microbiology

• Conduct microbiological analysis in fermentation labs
• Handle antibiotic, statin, and enzyme cultures
• Ensure sterile techniques and contamination control
• Record and analyze microbial growth patterns
• Support production teams with microbiological insights

EHS / ETP / Safety / MEE

• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance
• Manage Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Mechanical Evaporation Equipment (MEE)
• Implement safety protocols and risk assessments
• Conduct audits and maintain safety records
• Collaborate with operations for sustainable practices

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Fermentation – Production: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech (Biotechnology); 1–15 years experience
• Fermentation – Microbiology: B.Sc / M.Sc (Biotechnology/Microbiology); 1–8 years experience
• EHS / ETP / Safety / MEE: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech; 2–10 years experience
• Freshers with relevant degrees are encouraged to apply for Fermentation roles
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
