Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Medical Coding Trainee, candidates will undergo intensive classroom and practical training followed by deployment into live production environments.
Key responsibilities after training include:
- Learning IPDRG and CCS medical coding guidelines
- Reviewing inpatient medical records and clinical documentation
- Assigning accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG codes
- Ensuring coding accuracy in compliance with payer and regulatory standards
- Supporting hospital billing, reimbursement, and audit processes
- Meeting productivity and quality benchmarks
- Participating in continuous coding audits and refresher training
This role contributes directly to accurate healthcare reimbursement and compliance-driven revenue cycle operations.

- CTC: ₹21,000
- Take-home Salary: ₹16,000 per month
