Job Role & Responsibilities

Quality Control Officer / Senior QC Officer (Lab & Microbiology)

• Perform in-process, stability, and finished goods testing including raw materials (RM), packing materials (PM), and finished products (FG)
• Conduct microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in controlled manufacturing areas
• Maintain accurate QC documentation and laboratory records as per SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and quality standards during all testing activities
• Identify quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Handle calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments
• Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices in microbiology labs and production areas
• Perform data analysis, reporting, and support audit readiness activities

This role is crucial in maintaining pharmaceutical product quality, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring safe manufacturing practices in sterile environments.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Required Education:

B.Sc, M.Sc, Diploma in Microbiology, Chemistry, or related life sciences fields

Relevant Courses:

Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, Quality Assurance

Experience:

• QC Officer: 1 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control
• Senior QC Officer: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in sterile injectable manufacturing is highly preferred
