Job Overview – Quality Control Officer/Sr. Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of SOPs, Specifications, STPs, ARDS, Protocols, Stability Summary Reports, and other analytical documentation.
- Conduct analytical method validation as per applicable pharmacopoeias and ICH guidelines.
- Initiate and manage QMS elements: OOS, OOT, OOC, Deviations, CAPA, and Change Control.
- Oversee calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and standards.
- Implement and update documentation according to pharmacopoeial revisions.
- Conduct internal gap assessments of documentation vs actual GMP practices.
- Ensure GMP compliance within the QC laboratory operations.
Preferred Skills

- Up-to-date knowledge of pharmacopoeial guidelines and regulatory expectations

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background
MSc or BSc in Chemistry is mandatory.
Relevant courses may include:
- Organic Chemistry
- Analytical Chemistry
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Inorganic Chemistry
- Industrial Chemistry
Experience Required
- 4 to 7 years of work experience in the sterile pharmaceutical industry, especially in QC operations.
