Position Overview: Chemist / Sr. Chemist – QC Microbiology
This opportunity is tailored for experienced Microbiology professionals keen to work in a fast-paced quality control environment. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in microbiological analysis for pharmaceutical formulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, water, finished products, and environments.
- Perform sterility tests, endotoxin testing, and microbial limit testing.
- Operate and calibrate instruments like HPLC, autoclaves, and laminar airflow units.
- Prepare SOPs, protocols, and reports in compliance with cGMP guidelines.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory norms.
- Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Education: BSc or MSc in Microbiology
- Experience: 2 to 4 years in microbiology quality control, preferably in sterile/injectable/OSD manufacturing units
