Job Role & Responsibilities
Process R&D – API (CRDMO)
Qualification: M.Sc Organic Chemistry
Experience: 2–8 years
Location: Shamirpet, Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute multi‑step organic synthesis for APIs and advanced intermediates.
- Design and evaluate chemistry routes (route scouting) for development and scale‑up.
- Optimize reactions, assess impurity profiles and troubleshoot synthetic challenges.
- Develop early‑phase processes suitable for kilogram‑scale and pilot‑scale production.
- Document experiments, maintain ELN records and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety practices, chemical handling protocols and laboratory GLP standards.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams in CDMO/CRAMS environments.
Preferred Background: Experience in CDMO/CRAMS projects with exposure to process development and technology transfer.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Required Education
- M.Sc Organic Chemistry
Relevant Courses: Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Process Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Reaction Mechanisms, Analytical Techniques (NMR, LC‑MS, HPLC), Impurity Profiling.
Experience Requirements
- 2–8 years in synthetic/process R&D, preferably within API or CRDMO settings.
Location & Salary
Work Location: Shamirpet, Hyderabad
Salary will be based on experience, technical depth and project background.
