Role Overview: IN-VITRO SCIENTIST – LDO

As an In-Vitro Scientist – LDO, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to investigating novel drug targets and validating mechanisms of action (MoA) using in-vitro platforms. You’ll contribute to critical research in therapeutic areas such as fibrosis, immunology, and oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute cell-based assays to study drug efficacy and MoA.
• Design, develop, and perform target validation studies using various cellular models.
• Handle primary cell isolation from blood and tissues, and maintain cell lines.
• Conduct molecular assays such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, Protein Simple, and high-throughput screening.
• Use of analytical tools like GraphPad or similar software for data interpretation.
• Maintain high scientific rigor, accuracy in data documentation, and troubleshoot lab protocols as required.
• Contribute towards internal knowledge sharing, scientific discussions, and optimization of laboratory techniques.
• Exposure to iPSC culture, high-content imaging, and automation-based assays is considered a plus.

Candidate Profile

• Educational Qualification: MSc / M.Pharm / M.Tech in Biological Sciences or related disciplines.
• Experience: 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience in a life sciences research or drug discovery setting.

Skills Required: 

• Strong expertise in cell culture and cell-based functional assays.
• Proficiency with lab instruments such as multimode plate readers, automation platforms, and imaging systems.
• Ability to adapt to evolving scientific goals and contribute to interdisciplinary research projects.
