Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Pharmacist in the clinical trials team, you will manage investigational products and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare protocol-specific pharmacy plans and labeling strategies
- Handle receipt, verification, and storage of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) and Non-Clinical Supplies (NCS)
- Perform labeling, relabeling, and expiry extension activities as per approved protocols
- Manage supply and distribution of clinical trial materials to investigational sites
- Prepare shipment documentation and ensure temperature-controlled logistics
- Maintain inventory of IMP and NCS throughout the study lifecycle
- Coordinate return, recall, and reconciliation of clinical supplies
- Witness and document destruction of unused investigational products
- Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Support audits and ensure documentation readiness
- Maintain calibration and maintenance of clinical supply equipment
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Background:
M.Pharmacy, MSc (Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry), Life Sciences
Experience Required:
- Experience in clinical trials, pharmacy operations, or clinical supply management preferred
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and Indian regulatory guidelines
- Experience in SOP development and audit handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Good communication and attention to detail
