Job Role & Responsibilities

Research Associate / Research Officer – IPR (API)

Experience: 4–6 years
Qualification: M.Sc (Organic Chemistry)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct API Landscape and FTO (Freedom to Operate) analyses.
  • Prepare Patent Reports and responses to regulatory or client queries.
  • Identify business development opportunities related to new patent filings.
  • Perform periodic patent reviews and track competitor portfolios.
  • Utilize Scifinder and Orbit tools for patent searches and analysis.
  • Collaborate with business and R&D teams to ensure intellectual property alignment.

Scientist – Analytical Research & Development (ARD)

Experience: 10–15 years
Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Analytical Method Development (AMD) for complex APIs and intermediates.
  • Operate and validate analytical instruments such as GC-MS, LC-MS, GC, and HPLC.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Collaborate with formulation and process development teams to optimize analytical methods.
  • Review technical documentation and support technology transfer activities.

Key Skills: Analytical Method Validation, HPLC Method Development, GC-MS Analysis, Regulatory Documentation, Quality Systems.


Eligibility / Qualifications

  • Education: M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
  • Experience: 4–15 years (based on role).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in analytical instrumentation and patent research databases.
