Job Role & Responsibilities

As part of the Packaging Department, selected candidates will support daily production and packaging activities in alignment with GMP and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery in accordance with SOPs.
• Conduct line clearance, area checks and maintain packing records.
• Ensure correct batch coding, labeling, and product identification.
• Follow cGMP, safety guidelines and maintain hygiene in the production area.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment issues and escalate major breakdowns.
• Verify packaging material reconciliation and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and participate in deviation/CAPA processes.
• Coordinate with QA, Production and Engineering teams for smooth workflow.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Education

B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy). Relevant coursework includes: Pharmaceutical Technology, Industrial Pharmacy, GMP Compliance, Packaging Technology.

Experience

1–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging, production, or regulated manufacturing operations.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong understanding of packaging operations and documentation.
• Familiarity with blister packing, bottle packing or strip packing machines.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP and regulated manufacturing practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
