Job Role & Key Responsibilities
Senior Coder / Quality Analyst
Key Specialties:
- Emergency Department (ED) – Facility Coding
- Radiology Coding
- Surgery Coding
Responsibilities:
- Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes based on documentation.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and coding guidelines.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure coding accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members for case discussions and audits.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Educational Background & Certifications
- Graduation in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Paramedical, or Healthcare-related fields (BSc, B Pharm, MSc, etc.)
- Certification (any one mandatory): CPC, CRC, CCS, or COC
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year to 5 years of relevant experience in medical coding
Preferred Skills
- Good understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
