Job Role & Responsibilities
Positions: Medical Coder / Sr. Medical Coder / QA — Radiology
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Reviewing radiology reports and assigning appropriate ICD‑10‑CM and CPT codes.
- Ensuring coding accuracy based on AAPC/AHIMA guidelines.
- Performing coding audits, identifying errors, and supporting corrective actions.
- Meeting daily productivity and quality benchmarks for US‑based radiology clients.
- Coordinating with QA teams for audits, clarifications, and documentation updates.
- Maintaining compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and internal SOPs.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce denials and improve RCM outcomes.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: Life Sciences, B.Sc, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nursing, or any healthcare background.
- Experience: 1–5 years in Radiology Medical Coding (mandatory).
- Certifications (preferred but not mandatory): CPC, CCS, CIC.
- Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of ICD‑10, CPT, radiology coding guidelines.
- Experience with PACS, EMR systems, and US healthcare documentation.
- Ability to handle high‑volume radiology charts with accuracy >95%.
